I decided to take a hiatus from work recently and wanted to find a way to give to others while I enjoy my down time. I've been a sewer since seeing the magic my grandmother created with her machine and I hoped I could utilize my sewing in some positive way. When I found "Dress A Girl Around The World" I knew this was it! Please follow my blog to see each new dress as they're posted! How Can You Help Me?

Hi, if you would like to support my dress-making efforts, you can help by donating slightly used or new 100% cotton pillowcases or 1 yard of fabric. And, notions like 1/2" double-wide bias tape, rick rack, satin ribbon will add an extra-special touch to make these dresses even prettier! If you help me with donations of any kind, I will gladly send you a personal photo of the completed dress and point out your contributionn when I post the dress photo to this blogsite.
